MANAGER, FACILITY MAINTENANCE

JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent is responsible for maintenance of the SporTT facilities to allow for its grounds and facilities to operate safely and in good condition. The position works as part of a preventive maintenance team, focusing on the quality of work performed by outsourced contractors. This role holder may also be required to coordinate and supervise the work of other maintenance staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Oversees the implementation of the facilities maintenance plan.
• Coordinates the work of SporTT maintenance staff.
• Monitor and evaluate the works performed by service providers and the maintenance team in compliance with standards.
• Provides Engineering Consultancy services to the organisation.
• Develops scope of works and project schedules in compliance with engineering standards and practices.
• Determines resources, material, equipment, and supplies required and facilitate the transfer of equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary.
• Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
• Conduct facilities and maintenance audits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A recognised University Degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing similar functions in a maintenance or related environment, inclusive of two (2) years in a supervisory level position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Would be considered an asset:
o Knowledge of AutoCad
o Knowledge of Microsoft Project
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

COMPETENCIES:

Technician, Accounting

JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the Department Head by analysing accounting data and preparing reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A recognized University degree in Accounting or ACCA Level 3,
• A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Accounting and Finance
• Proficient in MS Office 365;
• Experience in the following areas would be considered:
o Intensive background in Accounts Payables
o Preparation of Reconciliations
o Closure of Profit & Loss Accounts
o External and Internal Audit processes
o Supervisory skills
o Exposure in the field of accounting and its various responsibilities
o Understanding and application of Accounting Standards
o Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software or accounting related software
o Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

LABOURER (TOBAGO)

JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent, under the direction of assigned supervision, is required to undertake a range of grounds and general maintenance works and apply craft knowledge and skills, in accordance with prescribed work procedures, practices and standards in carrying out activities to enhance the general appearance and operations of SporTT facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Perform maintenance and mechanical activities for assigned buildings and related facilities, furnishings and equipment (including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, cement work, heating, welding, roofing and related work).
• Perform routine inspection and minor repairs at assigned facility.
• Repairs and tests equipment in accordance with standard craft practice, procedures and equipment specifications.
• Assist in the set up for events at SPORTT facilities in a timely manner.
• Load, unload and move items and materials using hand or basic material handling equipment as part of the receiving, storage, issuing and dispatching process.
• Undertake general housekeeping of environs as directed.
• Oversee and direct work activity of all contractors and their agents responsible for setup and take down of equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Three (3) GCE O levels or CXC equivalent passes (General Proficiency Grade I, II or III) including Mathematics and English.
AND
• A Full Trinidad and Tobago Craft Certificate or equivalent technical education.
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

COMPETENCIES:
