The U-23 Men's Futsal Competition at the 2022 Caribbean Games began with hosts Guadeloupe falling victim to the T&T squad 4-12 🙌🏾

T&T’s goals were scored by Che Benny (6 goals), Omri Baird (4 goals) and Josiah Joseph (2 goals) 💪🏾

-	Local athletes shine at NGC/NAAA's Open Champs!
-	Jereem Blazes to 200m Championship Record in 19.83s!
-	Teniel Campbell returned to local cycling to claim both National Time-Trial and Road Race ‘Elite Women’ titles at TTCF’s National Road Cycling Championships
-	Benjamin Mouttet of Breakaway Cycling Club also won the Junior Men’s Time Trial and Road Race
-	T&T teams left and arrived safely to the 2022 Caribbean Games in Guadeloupe
-	The inaugural Caribbean Games officially commenced on Thursday at the Rene Serge Nabajoth Stadium in Abymes, Guadeloupe.
-	DAVIS CUP by Rakuten Americas Group IV Trials this weekend at NRC
-	Trinidad and Tobago International Open Chess Tournament 2022 starts today (Saturday) at the Hilton, POS.
-	T&T athletes capture medals at inaugural Caribbean Games!

🇹🇹 T&T athletes capture medals at inaugural 🇹🇹 T&T athletes capture medals at inaugural Caribbean Games! 🥇

Kion Benjamin and Nikoli Blackman tasted gold on the track and in the pool, respectively, as T&T stamped its presence at the first Caribbean Games 🙌🏾

T&T’s flagbearer at the games, Blackman, was the first T&T athlete to capture gold at the tournament touching the wall in 22.93 seconds to win the Men’s 50m freestyle final 🏊🏾💨

Aqeel Joseph took the bronze in 23.97s 🥉

In the Men’s 100m dash, Benjamin stopped the clock at 10.36 seconds for a comfortable cushion over his closest rivals 🏃🏾💨

T&T sprinters Akilah Lewis and Leah Bertrand earned silver and bronze, respectively, in the Women’s 100m dash. Lewis clocked 11.55 seconds and Bertrand got to the line in 11.57s while St Lucia’s Julien Alfred ran away with gold in 11.07s 🥈🥉

Ornella Walker, Blackman, Mark-Anthony Beckles and Jahmia Harley combined for silver in the mixed 4x100m medley relay as the T&T quartet clocked a time of four minutes, 15.25 seconds 👍🏾

🇹🇹 The Trinidad and Tobago Chess Association 🇹🇹 The Trinidad and Tobago Chess Association (TTCA) will be hosting the Trinidad and Tobago International Open Chess Tournament 2022 which starts tomorrow (Saturday 2nd) until next Friday 8th July ♟️

The tournament is open to players from ALL National federations and will take place at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, POS. The tournament will be held in accordance with the ‘FIDE Rules of Chess’ 👍🏾

The ‘Masters’ section will be by invitation only and the ‘Open’ Class is available for all players with a rating under 2200 from the FIDE member federations 💪🏾

Online registration will close at 8pm tonight ⏰

🇹🇹 DAVIS CUP by Rakuten Americas Group IV Tr 🇹🇹 DAVIS CUP by Rakuten Americas Group IV Trials 🎾

Trials for selection of our TTO Davis Cup team takes place from Friday 1st July to Sunday 3rd July 2022 with matches scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. daily at the National Racket Center, Tacarigua 🙌🏾

Trials consist of eight (8) players who will play for four (4) playing spots on the team 💪🏾

Nine (9) countries are expected to participate inclusive of Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bermuda, Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tobago and US Virgin Islands 👍🏾

Tennis TT is thrilled that our athletes have the opportunity to compete at the highest level 👏🏾
