Triumphant return for junior Team TTO water polo

Members of the Under-19 Men's Water Polo Team with Ronson Hackshaw, Assistant Director of the Physical Education and Sport Division of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and former player, centre front row.

Our Carifta 2025 Water Polo Champions received an official welcome as they returned last evening at the Diplomatic Lounge, Piarco International Airport.

Our U16 female, U16 male, and U19 male divisions dominated the pool, striking strike gold at the Carifta Aquatics 2025 Championships in Coral Springs, Florida. The U14 Coed and U19 Girls teams made waves, too, with silver finishes and the U19 female copped bronze in the Invitationals.

Ronson Hackshaw, Assistant Director of the Physical Education and Sport Division of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, was on hand to congratulate the team and greet them upon their return home.

The teams counted three gold medals, two silver and Invitational bronze creating a memorable competition and a triumphant return for Team TTO.

Congratulations to our champs for their success in the Red, White and Black of Trinidad and Tobago!
