#MCM 🇹🇹 Tariq Woods of the Evolution Cyclin #MCM

🇹🇹 Tariq Woods of the Evolution Cycling Academy won four of his six events contested in the Elite Men's category, over the weekend, as the T&T Cycling Federation Track Challenge Series No. 1 took place at the National Cycling Velodrome in Couva 🚴🏾💨

The wins by Woods on the night included the Points Race (30 laps), Tempo Race (10 km), Individual Pursuit (3 km), and the Keirin final 🥇🥇🥇🥇

Kyle Caraby of Arima Wheelers secured the two other rides, namely, the Flying 200 qualifying round in 11.36 seconds, just ahead of Woods (11.46), and the Sprint Final ahead of Zion Pulido and Devante Laurence 💪🏾

🇹🇹 Twenty-seven (27) coaches and PE educator 🇹🇹 Twenty-seven (27) coaches and PE educators successfully completed the ‘Advanced Instructor’ course in Athletic Skills Model (ASM) conducted from 10-15 January at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua ✅

Under the tagline ‘Optimising talent development through movement education’ the Dutch-based ASM was brought to Trinidad as a result of a strategic partnership between SporTT and the University of Portsmouth.

The workshop was led by SporTT’s Elite Athlete Wellbeing Unit. The ASM is intended to provide coaches (elite, youth and community) as well as PE teachers and practitioners in the health, exercise and sport industries with a framework to think about skillful movement across the lifespan.

🇹🇹 ‘World Netball’ has announced that T& 🇹🇹 ‘World Netball’ has announced that T&T’s Pamela Cumberbatch has been appointed as the Technical Delegate for the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games taking place from the 4th – 11th August 2023 🙌🏾

Cumberbatch will work in collaboration with World Netball, the host (Trinidad and Tobago) Organising Committee, and the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) as required on a voluntary basis to ensure compliance with World Netball’s rules and regulations both prior to and during the competition 👍🏾

Their main goal is to deliver a world-class FAST5 netball competition at the Commonwealth Youth Games 2023 🏆
