The Building Internal Structures Workshop Series has been launched to strengthen the governance, administration and long-term sustainability of cricket clubs across Trinidad and Tobago. The series is led and facilitated by SporTT’s Community Sports Department, in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB).

Designed to support club development at the zonal level, the workshops provide practical guidance in key areas including organisational structure, club constitutions, MSYA grant funding and registration, non-profit organisation (NPO) registration, financial management, safeguarding, risk assessment, event planning, and access to sporting and recreational facilities.
The first workshop in the series was held on 5 February 2026 at Guaico Government Primary School for clubs within the North East Zone. Thirty-two participants representing 16 cricket clubs attended the session, with support from zonal leadership and TTCB representatives.

The Building Internal Structures Workshop Series forms part of SporTT’s commitment to strengthening community sport through capacity building and effective club governance.
