🇹🇹 Junior Cyclists embrace ‘UCI Level I Cy 🇹🇹 Junior Cyclists embrace ‘UCI Level I Cycling Training Camp’! 🚴🏽‍♂️💨

Syndel Samaroo, one of T&T’s top junior track cyclists is thrilled for the opportunity provided by the UCI's recent Level I Cycling Training Camp. Young cyclists from across the region enjoyed the challenge of both theoretical and practical sessions on the track, as well as the road, at the National Cycling Velodrome in Couva ✅

The two-week programme pedalled off on June 1, with 21 junior racers sharpening their technical abilities and mental tactics on their bikes. It's timely preparation for the upcoming 2025 Youth Pan American Games scheduled for August in Paraguay 🏆

This course is being delivered by the UCI Development Camp Head Coach and 2x Olympic Coach, Erin Hartwell, who took the riders through a developmental journey to enhance their high speed cycling potential 💪🏽

All the best to the region's young cycling talent!

#ICYMI Trinidad and Tobago senior footballers (Soca Warriors) will battle Jamaica, Curaçao, and Bermuda in ‘Group B’ for a spot in the 2026 World Cup! ⚽

The draw for the Final Round of CONCACAF World Cup 2026 Qualifying took place yesterday. T&T will play six crucial matches, scheduled for September, October and November this year! 📋

Three groups of four teams will vie for their opportunity to qualify for the World Cup as each of the group winners will book a direct ticket to the 2026 World Cup and the two best second-placed teams (across all groups) head into the Intercontinental Playoffs for their WC berth ✅
