From athlete to coach, sport science to event management and media, these little ones are discovering there’s a whole world of opportunity behind sport. And yes, they had a blast testing their skills through fun, movement-based challenges too!

Where Science Meets Sport: Sparking Curiosity, Bui Where Science Meets Sport: Sparking Curiosity, Building Futures at Lakshmi Girls’ Hindu College! ⚗️🏃‍♀️💡

Who knew physics could make you faster or that biology could build a better athlete? 👩🏽‍🔬🏋🏽‍♀️

Our Sports in Schools Unit brought the science behind the sport to life at Lakshmi Girls’ Hindu College’s Science Fair! From testing balance and grip strength to exploring biomechanics and recovery, students got a hands-on look at how STEM powers performance. ⚙️

This fair was about opening minds to the endless careers where sport and science collide: Sports Scientist, Biomechanist, Engineer, Data Analyst, and more. 🌟

Big thanks to the 400+ curious minds who stopped by our booth, your energy and questions remind us that the future of sport is as smart as it is strong. 💪🏽📊

🇹🇹 SporTT at Victoria District National Prim 🇹🇹 SporTT at Victoria District National Primary School Football Finals! ⚽

The Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) Sports in Schools Programme (SISP) made the trip to the Manny Ramjohn Stadium to support the participating schools at the National Primary School Football Finals earlier today! 🏟️

The team continues to demonstrate our commitment to promoting and developing sport within schools across all districts 💪🏽

The Victoria District was well represented, with three ‘SISP’ Schools, namely, San Fernando Boys R.C., St. Paul’s Boys’ Anglican and Mon Repos R.C. making it to the finals of the National Primary School Championship ✅

SporTT’s SISP coordinators, athletic assistants and communications team were present to cheer on the students as they battled for the titles 🏆

Results:
(Boys U-12) San Fernando Boys' RC 0-3 St. Paul's Anglican 
(Boys U-15) San Fernando Boys' RC 2-1 Mon Repos R.C.

The Community Sport Department (CSD) took career inspiration to the classroom at Mucurapo Boys RC School for their Career Day under the theme “Anyone Can Be a Hero.” 💪

Our team brought the energy, showing over 150 students that sport isn’t just about being on the field. They also highlighted the importance of sports in personal and national development. 

The goal? To spark curiosity and remind students that you don’t have to be the star athlete to make a difference in sport. Every role matters. Every contribution counts. And heroes come in all forms. 💥 ⚽🏀🎽
