As Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, I am proud of the pivotal role the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) continues to play in revitalising sport across our nation. Sport is more than competition, it is a vehicle for unity, empowerment, and transformation. SporTT stands at the centre of this vision, driving development from the grassroots up.
We are investing in communities, refurbishing sporting facilities, and providing young athletes with access to quality coaching and equipment. From school fields to community courts, our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to play, discover their talent, and dream beyond boundaries.
Through collaboration with national sport organisations, local government, and schools, SporTT is nurturing the next generation of athletes and fostering a culture of active living. This revitalisation is not only about producing champions, it is about strengthening our communities and building a healthier, more confident nation.
Together, we are shaping a new era for sport in Trinidad and Tobago, one rooted in inclusion, passion, and excellence. I invite every citizen to be part of this movement and help us keep the spirit of sport alive in every village and community.
