OFFICER, HUMAN RESOURCES
JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent is required to provide key generalist HR and Payroll support to the management and staff at SporTT. The role will assist in fostering a comfortable and productive working environment, characterised by harmonious employee relations and progressive human resource practices, thereby enabling SporTT to fulfil its mandate.
Duties include developing the people management skills of line management through coaching and support in dealing with performance issues, as and when they arise. Assisting the Head, Employee Experience & Central Services on competency-based Recruitment and Selection will also be a major feature of the role, as will the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures and HRIS management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A recognised University Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or a related degree;
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing duties in one or more of the functional areas of human resource management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience the Public Sector in a related field would be considered an asset.
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience.
COMPETENCIES:
