Assistant, Facilities (EAST)
JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent is required to operate as a key support officer to the Manager, Facility Operations undertaking a range of administrative, technical and operational functions at the SporTT facilities. They will coordinate, monitor and report on maintenance work and other activities at the SporTT facilities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
5 CXC’s including Mathematics & English Language, Craftsman Certificate and Three (3) years experience in a similar role.
OR
- National Technician Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent and Two(2) years relevant experience
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Officer, Clerical (EAST)
JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent is required to perform a variety of administrative and office duties in order to facilitate the efficient operation of the department and organisation by extension. These include but are not limited to organising meeting arrangements, preparing reports, maintaining appropriate filing systems, receiving visitors and receiving and re-routing telephone calls.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 CXC’s including Mathematics & English Language
- Certification in Office Administration, Administrative Management or similar qualification.
- A minimum (3) years related work experience in an administrative capacity preferably in the Public Sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience
COMPETENCIES:

Labourer, Semi-Skilled (EAST)
JOB PURPOSE:
This incumbent is required to perform a range of general maintenance and grounds keeping in and around the SporTT facilities, ensuring the general appearance of the building and surrounding areas are properly maintained.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 CXC’s including Mathematics & English Language,
- Craftsman Certificate,
- A minimum two (2) years experience in the maintenance of AstroTurf
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience
COMPETENCIES:
We are in search of a team-player who has integrity, is results-oriented, possesses strong planning & organising skills, and great flexibility. Skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC/Air Conditioning, customer service, and experience dealing with multiple stakeholders are necessary.
