📚🏏 Bowling over boundaries with knowledge! 📚🏏 Bowling over boundaries with knowledge!

The Cricket Coaching Edification Workshop wrapped up today at Shaw Park, Tobago — two power-packed days of training for 38 primary school teachers from across the island!

Facilitated by SporTT, the workshop was led by Level 3 Coach and SporTT Coordinator Vinood Maharaj, with expert support from SporTT's Athlete Development Officer & former national player Navin Stewart, and SporTT Cricket Coaches Ansil Nedd, Joel Kirk, and Neil Skeete.

This initiative was made possible through a meaningful partnership between SporTT and the Division of Education, Research and Technology (DERT) – Sport in Education Unit of the THA. Together, we're building capacity in our schools and laying a stronger foundation for grassroots cricket in Tobago. 🤝🏏

The School and Community Cricket Coaching Programme continues to swing into action this term—focussing on the recent SEA students (and other talented school cricketers from various classes) across approx. 80 primary schools throughout the nation.

Thanks to our dedicated SporTT coaches, schoolyards are turning into training grounds, and cricket dreams are being born with every bowl, bat, and cheer. 🙌
