The Community Sport Unit – Sport in Schools Programme teamed up with RightWay Centre of Learning and Academic Development for an exciting Post-SEA Initiative!
Our young champs got a tour of the SPORTT Couva facilities — including the National Aquatic Centre, Cycling Velodrome, and the Ato Boldon Stadium! 💦🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

From diving into fun activities to discovering the magic behind national-level sport, these students got a firsthand look at the power of sport and learned about athletes and the cool opportunities it holds!

Over the weekend our athletes were back in action on the field!

 🌟Keshorn Walcott launched his 2025 season with a massive 84.65m throw to finish 4th in the javelin at the Wanda Diamond League in Doha!
🏆 Tyra Gittens leapt to 1st in the women's long jump (6.73m SB) at the Texas State Twilight.
⚡ Gianna Paul set a new T&T U-20 record in the 100m hurdles (13.67s), grabbed gold in high jump (1.66m) & long jump (5.91m) at the Big South Champs!
💪 Che Rochford won gold in the decathlon (6,985 pts) at the SWAC Champs and 4th in javelin. Teammates:
🏃 Genesis Joseph – 4th in 800m (1:51.49)
🏃‍♂️ Avindale Smith – 12th (200m) & 14th (400m)
 🥇Daniel Igbokwe took 1st in triple jump (15.44m) at the Princeton Elite Invite.
