The Ministry of Sport and Community Development and the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) recently held a recognition ceremony to honour the successes of T&Tโ€™s junior teams, including the Carifta aquatic team, the Carifta athletics team, the TT Under-15 boys’ cricket team and the Under-16 netball team ๐Ÿ†

  • The national U-15 cricketers were crowned (for the 10th time in T&Tโ€™s history) champions of the West Indies Rising Stars Under-15 Championships as they went undefeated throughout the tournament ๐Ÿ
  • T&Tโ€™s #U16CalypsoGirls finished fourth in the 20th Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ
  • On Track & Field side of the Carifta Games held in the Bahamas, T&Tโ€™s athletes raked up 22 medals (five gold, eight silver and nine bronze) in total after the three-day meet ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰
  • In the Carifta Aquatic Championships held in Curacao, T&T swimmers tallied an impressive 54 medals (22 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze) ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’จ
