The Ministry of Sport and Community Development and the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) recently held a recognition ceremony to honour the successes of T&T’s junior teams, including the Carifta aquatic team, the Carifta athletics team, the TT Under-15 boys’ cricket team and the Under-16 netball team πŸ†

  • The national U-15 cricketers were crowned (for the 10th time in T&T’s history) champions of the West Indies Rising Stars Under-15 Championships as they went undefeated throughout the tournament 🏏
  • T&T’s #U16CalypsoGirls finished fourth in the 20th Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament πŸ™ŒπŸ½
  • On Track & Field side of the Carifta Games held in the Bahamas, T&T’s athletes raked up 22 medals (five gold, eight silver and nine bronze) in total after the three-day meet πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆπŸ₯‰
  • In the Carifta Aquatic Championships held in Curacao, T&T swimmers tallied an impressive 54 medals (22 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze) πŸŠπŸ½πŸ’¨
