MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Sport Management, Sport Development, Physical Education or a related experience
  • Post graduate certification in Sports Management, Sports Development or a related discipline
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

AND

  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Sport Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a senior managerial level

Considered an asset:

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience working with volunteer sporting organisations

Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience.

COMPETENCIES

The position requires a combination of technical knowledge, analytical abilities, basic experience in monitoring and evaluation and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, results-driven and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. They should be able to work openly and collaboratively with co-workers and contractors toward the achievement of results that are in line with organisational values and strategic objectives.
